Words can’t explain the impact this church has had on my life. God has used this family of believers to bring about change I never thought possible.

What to Expect on Sundays

Here's what a typical Sunday morning looks like in 5 steps.

Arrive

Our service begins at 10AM and typically ends around 11:30AM.

The Arches has a designated parking lot right next
door on E. Chestnut St. Park there, then follow the signs to the main entrance at the front of the building.

As you make your way in, a friendly greeter will be there to welcome you. Be sure to grab a bulletin—it has a few helpful things to get you oriented—before heading into the auditorium.

Our gatherings are casual, and you’ll experience a warm, family feel from the moment you walk in. There’s nothing wrong with dressing up, but you don’t need to on our account—just come as you are. If you’re comfortable, we’re happy.

Have Kids?

We look forward to meeting your family!

Generations is our Sunday morning Children’s Ministry, offering fun, safe, age-appropriate classes for kids ages 1 to 7.

Nursery care is available for the entire service, and we provide a nursing moms’ lounge where the service is streamed live. Elementary-aged children join you for the first part of the service and are then dismissed to their classes after the singing.

When you arrive, a member of our hospitality team will help you connect with one of our amazing Generations volunteers, who will walk you through the check-in process and answer any questions you may have.

To ensure a safe and welcoming environment, every Generations worker completes a background check and receives ongoing training. Your child’s safety and care are our top priorities.

Singing

At Emmanuel, our singing is joyful and heartfelt, with a mix of timeless hymns and contemporary worship songs that reflect a deep passion for God—who He is and what He’s done for us in Jesus.

Bible Teaching

Worship doesn’t stop after the singing—preaching is worship too, as the truth of God’s Word is proclaimed and stirs our love for Jesus.

We believe the preaching of Scripture is the most important part of our Sunday gatherings. The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, and every part of it points us to Jesus.

Each week, you’ll hear teaching that is both faithful to God’s Word and applicable to everyday life.

Every Sunday, we also celebrate the Lord’s Supper together as a church family. And after the service, Prayer Team members are available if you’d like someone to pray with you.

Stick Around

We know that visiting a new church can feel a bit overwhelming—but we hope to make it less so.

At Emmanuel, you’ll find that people genuinely enjoy being together. Most folks aren’t in a rush to leave after the service, and we hope you’ll stick around too. It’s a great time to grab coffee and cookies, say hello, meet a few people, and get a feel for our church family.

Be sure to stop by the Welcome Center—we’d love to meet you, answer any questions you have, and give you a small gift as a thank-you for joining us. It’s just a simple way of saying we’re glad you came and hope to see you again.

Get Connected

The church isn’t a building or just a Sunday morning event—it’s a community of people saved by God’s grace and walking through life together.

At Emmanuel, we want to help you move from simply attending a service to truly belonging. Joining a Life Group, serving on a team, or getting involved in a ministry is a great way to use your gifts, build relationships, and grow in community. These opportunities are a natural pathway into the life of the church.

Whether you’re new to the area, exploring faith, or looking for a new church home, there’s a place for you here.

We’d love to help you take your next step at Emmanuel.
